Pride Toronto's official Pride Guide available throughout Toronto.

Publication completely redesigned for 2006

06/16/06 - Pride Toronto's official festival guidebook - The Pride Guide - hit the stands today, available as an insert in the popular free weekly "NOW Magazine". 118,000 copies were distributed throughout the greater GTA within the publication, with another 2,000 copies being retained for distribution at the main festival weekend June 23-25, 2006.

Olena Sullivan, volunteer coordinator of the art direction committee for Pride Toronto, worked with co-coordinator Jason Schneider to completely redesign the publication and make it a user-friendly, easy-to-read pocket guide that would not only be used as a reference tool by visitors and residents, but also be a keepsake souvenir piece.

Changes to this year's guide included: size change to 7" x 10", better glossy paper, addition of icons to listings, 2-page quick-view calendar of all weekend events for easy planning, venue map, and middle-spread large site maps that not only include festival items, but visitor information such as TTC stations, washrooms, and dis/ability stations.
