Orillia & District Arts Council Launches New Website Design

New Mediatrix designs site for local arts community

04/22/05 - Orillia & District Arts Council (ODAC), a community website that helps visitor find, enjor, and participate in the artistic and cultural offerings of Orillia, officially launched their website today at their new URL: www.orilliaartscouncil.ca.

New Mediatrix worked with key ODAC staff to design and develop a website that would showcase the artists in the Orillia district and would help visitors find events and membership information quickly and easily. A 3-month calendar allows users to view ongoing events, limited engagements, and member events at the many museums, theatres, and clubs in Orillia. The ODAC newsletter is now also available online and as a downloadable PDF and membership has been moved online, with a sign-up form for quick membership.

The result has exceeded expectations for both ODAC and their community. New Mediatrix will also be maintaining the site for the client and future additions will include the expansion of Artists section to include sculptors, musicians, and glass artists.
